“Inside Tucson Business” featured Tohono Plaza in their July 2007 edition of the local business journal.  Tohono Plaza is an important first step in the long deserved development of the Tohono O’odham Nation -- Sells, Arizona in particular.  The magnitude of its success cannot be underestimated.  Although the O’odham Nation has built casinos, schools, clinics and various public facilities, this strictly retail oriented project is the first major commitment by the Nation’s Economic Development Authority, which is charged with expanding and invigorating the economic lifeblood of the Tohono O’odham Nation.
